A BIG THANKS! TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS AND PARTICIPANTS THAT MADE THE 4TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION THE BEST EVER!
In this time of economic prosperity, we still have over 450 families especially those with children living in poverty and not knowing where their next meal will come from.
For the last 4 years, Greater Houston Development, Inc. has partnered with the Trinity Gardens Church of Christ under the great leadership of Senior Pastor Tim Daniels and its volunteer pantry - Joseph's Storehouse Pantry.
This year alone with the help of over 100 volunteers, hundreds of needy families were served.
300 donated turkeys, hundreds of pounds of fresh chicken, tons of fresh produce and dry goods from the Houston Food Bank thru Joseph's Storehouse Pantry were given away.
A special treat this year was the donation of very much needed toys by our corporate sponsor - 1st. Class Training, Inc. - Antonio and Dawn Bryant. Antonio and Dawn have worked tirelessly since the inception of the event to ensure that each year the event is a success by ensuring we have hundreds of turkeys to give to families and special volunteers. Thank you!
We greatly appreciate and would like to thank several community organizations and churches for giving their time, talent and donations for food, hats, etc...including (but not limited to):
